Everyone was so nice and didn’t mind us not knowing how to order or where things were. The food was fantastic, and the amounts were very large. Be forewarned: very large!! ”

The wings seem to be smaller but one wing from Frenchy's is the drum and flat and part of the breast, so 5 wings is more than what everyone else calls 10. I do miss the old place, but glad to see they're leaning into their New Orleans roots with the new look though. ”

Their old location was further down the street, next to where the church used to be. I’ve got some great childhood memories from that spot. “ Believe it or not, I have been going to Frenchy's since I was a college student, more than forty -five years ago! Their current location is just down the street from the original site. I just love it! We went on Palm Sunday after church! The Big Catch with two pieces of large fish, three large shrimp and your choice of side was delicious! Don't forget to add more fish to your order! Bona petite! ”
